Govware 2018 – Resecurity accelerates threat intelligence across APAC
Sep 17, 2018

International cybersecurity company Resecurity is set to introduce the launch of its next-generation endpoint protection platform (EPP) and cyber threat intelligence solutions into Singaporeand other Asian markets at GovWare 2018 in Singapore.

As a Gold Sponsor of Govware 2018, Resecurity welcomes security professionals to visit its own booth (#J17) in Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre on September 18-20 2018.

In its 27th showing, GovernmentWare (GovWare) is the region’s most established premier conference and showcase for cybersecurity. GovWare 2018 will be the key event during Singapore International Cyber Week, highlighting the latest trends in technology, organisational implementation and user perspectives. Speakers at GovWare 2018 will include over 100 government officials, thought leaders, visionaries, technology experts and industry professionals.

As a leading global financial centre, Singapore has become a key target for some of the world’s most sophisticated cyber criminals and, as a result, is now rapidly shoring up its cyber defences. Singapore’s Cybersecurity Act 2018 came into force on 31 August of this year and the Monetary Authority of Singapore has subsequently proposed converting the current cybersecurity guidelines to mandatory requirements to safeguard the IT systems of the country’s financial institutions and build up their cyber resilience. GovWare 2018 will share global industry knowledge on how organisations worldwide can best respond to the constantly evolving threat landscape and today’s increasingly sophisticated threat actors.

But merely identifying the barrage of incoming cyberattacks is of limited practical use to most organizations which have been targeted by cybercriminals and hacktivists. The never-ending onslaught of new threats and security challenges requires effective tools for their timely identification and in-depth analysis. Without proper contextualization, an overload of raw intelligence can become a burden, leading to lack of actionable data and incorrect resource planning, which may increase the probability of risk and negative outcome.

As a Sponsor at GovWare 2018, Resecurity will illustrate the vital role of actionable intelligence and data science in next-generation cybersecurity solutions and its applied use by cyber security engineers, intelligence officers, investigators and C-level security executives. Resecurity uses cutting-edge data science to enable organizations of different sizes to contextualise threat intelligence and identify imminent threats in real time, allowing resources to be directed where they are most needed.
