Senior Advisor
From 2018 to 2022, Mr. Lake was the Vice President of Security Services (Chief Security Officer) at Booz Allen Hamilton. Since 2017, he also has been a Distinguished Senior Fellow with the Global Resilience Institute at Northeastern University. Before that, from September 2013 to November 2017, Mr. Lake served as the Director of Global Security (Chief Security Officer) for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. He provided physical, personnel, and information security and executive protection there. Dick Lake also led the foundation's incident and business continuity management programs, supporting over 2,000 employees and staff traveling globally and working from two U.S.-based and seven international offices.
Before joining the Foundation in 2013, Dick served in the U.S. Marine Corps for over 36 years as an intelligence, foreign area, and infantry officer. As a General Officer, he led one of the U.S. Intelligence Community's elements as the Director of Intelligence for the U.S. Marine Corps for four years. Subsequently, he spent four years in a joint and interagency U.S. Intelligence Community assignment. Earlier in his career, he served in various command and staff positions in the U.S., Europe, the Caribbean, Latin America, the Middle East, Southwest Asia, and Africa, overseeing humanitarian, crisis, contingency, and combat operations.
During his service, Dick Lake received a variety of U.S. and foreign military decorations, including the Secretary of the Navy's Distinguished Service Medal, the Director of National Intelligence's National Intelligence Distinguished Service Medal, the CIA's Director's Award, the CIA's Distinguished Intelligence Medal, the National Clandestine Service's Donovan Award, and the Defense Intelligence Director's Award.

Mr. Blocker's distinguished career in the CIA involved high-profile roles across various international regions and operations. Notably, he served as Deputy Director of the Counterterrorist Center, Chief of the Africa Division, and Chief of Training at the CIA's iconic training facility. His expertise in these roles shaped U.S. national security policies and the development of the next generation of intelligence officers. His global experience as a Chief of Station and in various field positions has contributed to his deep understanding of both covert operations and international security challenges.
Mr. Blocker founded DMB Consulting Services after retiring from the CIA in 2018 as the most senior Black officer in the Directorate of Operations, the agency's elite branch responsible for managing covert operations globally. Since then, he has continued to influence the field of intelligence as an advisor and commentator, while also serving as the Vice Chairman of MOSAIC, an intelligence and advisory firm. He is also an on-air contributor to ABC News, providing expertise on national security issues.

Rear Admiral Teisuke Hayano boasts an illustrious career in the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force, serving from 1978 to 2011. During his tenure, he held various critical roles, including Director of the Department of Defense's intelligence headquarters. His exceptional leadership and strategic vision significantly contributed to the defense capabilities of the nation.
Furthermore, Rear Admiral Hayano has been an influential figure in Japan's Ministry of Defense. His extensive network within the ministry led to his appointment as a member of the expert committee on Cyber Security, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the country's cybersecurity policies.
In April 2011, after a distinguished career in the JMSDF, Rear Admiral Hayano retired. Since then, he has continued to contribute to the field of cybersecurity, holding positions such as an advisory board member for the Cyber Defense Symposium Atami. His commitment to knowledge sharing is evident through his role as a seminar lecturer on cybersecurity matters.
